Chemistry Test

I was not a very smart student in my high school. I had problems studying certain subjects. I did not like mathematic, chemistry and physic. This got me into trouble in the second semester. At that time, I was facing a chemistry test. At first, I tried to complete the test paper. I wrote on the easiest part of the paper, the student’s data. Next, I realized that I could not answer a single question. I had studied, but it felt like my brain did not work. While I was wondering how badly my result would be, I got a quite brilliant yet naughty Idea. I decided to copy my friend’s work. He was one of the smartest students. He would let me copy his work because I was his close friend. Then, I took his paper and copied it

Everything went good. I just took a few minutes until I copied my friend’s paper. I did it clearly, no noise, no eye contacts, or everything that would be suspicious. I was a little bit happy, but suddenly my chemistry teacher took out our paper, both of them. He stared my eyes and I knew that he was very angry. Then, he said that he already knew what I was doing. I was frightened. I know it was my fault. I begged the teacher to forgive my friend. It was not his fault at all. Finally, my chemistry teacher decided to make my friend rewrite his paper. He also made me joined the remedial test. He did not want to take my worksheet. I felt so embarrassed and guilty. Right after the test, I apologized to my smart friend. Fortunately, he said that it was not a big deal. He even suggested me to join a group study with him to my remedial test. That made me feels both happy and guilty at the same time. On that day, I also made a promise that I would not do the same thing again and try to study harder.
